Rapper 4Xtra Reportedly Injured in Firework Accident During July 4th Celebrations

Los Angeles rapper 4Xtra is reported to have sustained a serious injury to his hand after a fireworks mishap during Independence Day festivities.

Just hours before the incident, the artist, known for his energetic stage presence and flashy persona, shared a video on Instagram in which he held two firecrackers — one red, one gray — and playfully said, “Imma blow a n**ga up,” with the caption “OFF THE BACC.”

4Xtra, a Compton native affiliated with the Rollin’ 40s Crips, rose to local fame in LA’s street rap scene through his unfiltered lyrics and stories reflecting life on the West Coast streets.

Shortly after the Instagram post, footage began circulating online showing 4Xtra in visible pain, clutching his injured hand. Some posts claimed that part of his hand had been severely damaged or even “blown off,” although no official medical updates have been released.

As of presently, there has been no formal upgrade from 4Xtra or his group with respect to his condition.

The incident highlights the risks associated with fireworks, which spike in injuries every July. Data from the U.S. Consumer Item Security Commission appears that thousands, especially youthful men, are hospitalized yearly due to burns, gashes, and hand injury amid this occasion period.
